Security Village Dummy Alarm Unit
Our exclusive alarm unit is made from tough polycarbonate
and complies to relevant British & European
Standards. We provide our
external alarm box as either a dummy unit, i.e.
without internal sounder, or as a live unit,
which contains an electronic sounder, flashing
LED's and
strobe unit. This
listing is for the dummy unit. Our alarm
box is supplied with polycarbonate back plate,
lid cover screws and plastic end caps.
Ideal for
replacing ageing and rusting metal alarm boxes
or alarm boxes without any branding. Plenty of
space inside the alarm box to house your own
electronic sounder, bell or flashing LED's. |

Please note: We don't provide a flashing LED (light
emitting diode) with our dummy housings as we've not been able
to source one with a bright enough, reliable LED which will show
during bright daylight hours, plus we've found that householders
don't always replace the batteries inside the housing when they
go flat.
Break ins occur during daylight hours as well as
evenings and nights with the burglar preferring to break in via
the rear of a property. A dummy alarm housing can act as a
useful visual deterrent or as an addition to a 'live' alarm
unit. |
